The cottage is close to the local attractions of Durham including the Botanical Gardens, Durham Cathedral and Castle. Why not try out the rowing boats on the river and then enjoy a cold drink in the bars close by. Lane 7 the bowling alley and the Odeon Luxe Cinema along with lots of bars and restaurants are all in Durham and are very popular with our guests. In the nearest town of Spennymoor, just a mile or so away you will find four supermarkets and also a leisure centre with swimming pool alongside pubs and restaurants. Perfect if you are looking for a totally relaxing staycation and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre.

There is access to a lazy spa hot tub on site which is next to the shepherds hut. The seating area turns into a comfortable bed and the kitchen includes all the essentials you will need during your stay including utensils, toaster, microwave, a fridge and a freezer. There is also a small dining area and a small bathroom that includes a shower.
